Call for Entries: November 20th, 2010 postmark for entry
The Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition
is the second-longest running juried print and drawing competition in
the country. Every two years it features the best contemporary graphic
artwork from around the globe. All accepted artwork is featured in a
full-color exhibition catalogue and on the exhibition’s website.
JUROR: Robert E. Marx
Robert Marx’s long and illustrious career includes recognition as a
master printmaker, an illustrator of more than a dozen books, a
distinguished professor of art, and a Fulbright scholar. He has had over
40 solo exhibitions of his prints, sculptures, and paintings around the
world. His work is included in the permanent collections of numerous
public and private institutions including the Brooklyn Museum, Museum of
Modern Art, Corcoran Gallery, National Museum of American Art, Dallas
Museum, Los Angeles County Museum, Philadelphia Museum, Whitney Museum,
and the Seattle Art Museum.
AWARDS
Four cash prizes totaling $2500
will be awarded by the Juror. In addition the University as well as
other local art organizations will select multiple purchase awards.
ENTRY FEES: Each individual artwork submitted must be accompanied
by a $10 non-refundable entry fee. Number of entries is unlimited. Entry
fee must be paid by U.S. check or money order (payable in U.S. funds)
made payable to Bradley University or by credit card.
ELIGIBILITY: Any artist 18 years or older is encouraged to submit
original prints or drawings produced within the last three years
(2007 – 2010). Experimental techniques are encouraged.
MEDIA: Open to all traditional and non-traditional graphic
media, including all forms of printmaking, drawing, and book arts.
